“My six years at North Saginaw’s middle school have been lots of things: memorable, challenging, rewarding, fun. But most of all, they've been simply worthwhile. The students who attend this school make NSCA worthwhile. Our exemplary curriculum, strong character education emphasis, back-to-basics approach, wonderful facilities and resources, and devoted staff make NSCA worthwhile. Our proven record of academic growth and parent satisfaction make NSCA worthwhile. It is my strong belief that any family, if they will become part of our North Saginaw family, will likewise be treated to a memorable, challenging, rewarding, fun, and worthwhile experience. I can think of no better local school to prepare students for continuing education and a successful life.

“Coming to NSCA to teach eight years ago was a choice for me. I had previously taught in private, parochial, and public schools and saw major changes occurring with students and staff. My love for teaching was fading as I saw administration expectations dropping along with parental support. At NSCA, I found the qualities I’d envisioned would be found in a successfully run school. It contained diversity of students and staff, strong curriculum, highly educated & motivated teachers, and woven throughout was the moral characteristic traits of good citizenship. Here, too, parents are partners with the student’s education and assist the teachers and school as often as possible. Many even become life-long friends.
No other place in our area has this unique type of environment. I should know since this is my 34th year teaching our youth in the Saginaw/Bay City area. Each day at NSCA offers excitement and learning for the students. Don’t be surprised to see teachers working late into the evenings and at school on the weekends. I know first-hand because I’m here, too. I’m glad I decided to move to NSCA.”

“I am proud to be a teacher at NSCA. I have been teaching at North Saginaw since it opened in 1999, and it is apparent that our school is built upon teamwork. Never in my career have I seen a more dedicated team of teachers. You can find them here late, as well as on the weekends, to be sure that they are ready to educate your child to reach their greatest potential through individualized plans. The teachers are just as demanding of their students as they are of themselves. They expect each child to work diligently, give their personal best, and then they as teachers push each child to reach higher than they ever thought they possibly could. Of course, the teachers do not accomplish all this alone. Parent involvement is very important at NSCA. It shows our students that education is valued highly in life, by all of the people who love and take care of them. Our Moral Focus Program helps to keep discipline issues down to a minimum, but if it is needed, it is handled by a well-equipped administration. It is NSCA’s approach to teaching that makes it a great school for all students to be successful, no matter what their academic level. Come step into our school! You can feel the warmth and caring of the staff, and the excitement of students learning in every room.”
