North Saginaw Charter Academy middle school teachers are a team of passionate educators. They respond to the incredible challenge each day of educating middle school students. Their two important responsibilities are: academic achievement and personal development. Our teachers have a deep understanding of the students entrusted to their care. They recognize their strengths as well as their fragility. They demonstrate care and respect for their students by building genuine connections.
Our 6th through 8th grade students are challenged with high academic expectations. Students in middle school receive 90 minutes of Language Arts and Math instruction each day. They also receive 45 minutes of Science and Social Studies instruction each day.
Students rotate daily through five different specials consisting of: computers, physical education, art, music, and Spanish. Students also begin and end their day in their homeroom classroom. This gives the homeroom teacher an opportunity at the beginning and end of the day to touch base with their students and help them organize their homework and reflect on the day.
